In early 2024 we opened up submissions and applications for short form screen dance films. Our JOMBA! independent jury shortlisted 8 short films and the top two, voted by our 2024 Jurors, will be announced on Wednesday 28 August after the viewing. The top two short films will be given a small cash prize from the festival to honour their ongoing work. And, the top three will be shared as part of the Digital BlackCentric Week (UK) in a now four-year digital dance partnership with the Leicester (UK) based SERENDIPITY Institute for Black Arts and Heritage.
